Good one Benny!!
Chrisie...i am really starting to think you are scared of the Big Easy....stay away from the national media...they tend to enhance situations to make better stories....The crime in N.O. has always been like this, only now people are paying attention.

Benny, that very well could be the funniest thing I've ever heard out of you.
Julie, I'm just being overly dramatic. I'm game for New Orleans. I will see if the Grandparents are available.

Yes, that is coming soon a well. It will be in June because of conflicts Rogers has. It will happen don't you worry. Besides, it is my money to win not yours.

I am close to a date right now. I had a lot of business travel and prior engagements in May so it will be in June. Date to follow very soon. I'm definately up for a climbing weekend for Memorial Day. How about the Arbuckle park. My brother in law and sister have been down there a lot and say it is awesome?

I think they are used to 14,000 ft peaks, not 39 ft peaks.

Coming from Kansas, a staircase is awesome.
There are some cool areas in the Arbuckles but nothing is better than the Wichita Mts in Lawton when you talk about Oklahoma hikes.

My army brother blew stuff up in those lawton mts. ...he said their fun, but it could have been just the blowing up of stuff that was fun.

I was mistaken. My sister and brother-in-law are going to the Wichita Mountains in Lawton on Memorial. They have gone there a few times. It has a nice looking camp area and a lot of rock climbing and repelling areas as well as hiking areas.

New Orleans has 150 bars in an eight block area. No cliffs, but they have stairs up to the balconies.
